Robot Panties was born out of frustration. A friend took me to an indie tee shop in Edinburgh where an abundance of video game themed tees were dangling from the walls in a messy fashion. The only ones that fitted the ladies, though, were pink tees adorned with Princess Peach and other feminine characters. For the record, I’m not a Princess Peach fan — she’s a bit of an attention whore, no? Always relying on Mario to rescue her from the countless kidnaps she leaves herself vulnerable to. Not my kind of girl. Anyway, It seems that those of us who do have the taste of a tomboy are a little neglected in that department.
Over time I hope to create a line of video game themed tees that cater to both men and women. Robot Panties, and the robot mascot you see here, is the banner in which I’ll be releasing them under. It should be fun.
